Based on Whitley Neill no.1 selling premium gin, rhubarb & ginger. Their alcohol-free gin has the same great taste, without the alcohol. Inspired by the glory of the English country garden. An essence of rhubarb which adds a tart crisp edge, whilst real ginger warms the palate
Their alcohol-free gins are made using the only spinning cone vacuum column still in the UK. This process ensures that flavours and characteristic top notes aren't burnt in distillation. Existing Whitley Neill rhubarb & ginger gin enters the still and is extracted in 3 streams:
- Water
- Existing flavours and aromas within Whitley Neill
- Alcohol
At the end of this process, the water and flavours/aromas are blended, which recreates the gin with zero alcohol.

Alcohol free spirits are made through the distillation of botanicals, up to 35! These are then mixed to create the flavour, many of which now go past just imitating a gin, vodka or vermouth taste but instead create a whole new flavour! Across Europe drinks below 0.5% ABV are classed as alcohol free. In the UK drinks that are between 0.05% and 0.5% ABV are classed as non-alcoholic.

Gluten is a protein compound found most commonly in the grains wheat, barley, rye and oats. Wheat and barley are often key ingredients in producing drinks such as beer and in sealing wine casks. Gluten free drinks avoid using such products. To label as gluten free the product must have below 20 parts per million of gluten, which is barley a trace!

The drink is free from any animal products or derivatives. In addition the bottle, label and glue is also free from animal products.

As defined by governmental guidelines on sugar the drink must contain less than 2.5g of sugar per 100mls. Products with a higher sugar content cause a spike in insulin and we react by storing more carbs as fat. You may also notice that although lower in sugar there is some carbs, this is usually more complex forms of sugar such as starches and fibre and the body uses these for energy.
