During the production of the pils alcohol-free, the alcohol is extracted through a very special process. The beer aroma is thus retained. The Rothaus system removes the alcohol with steam under vacuum. In the following, the aromas are recovered particularly gently and remain in the beer. In order to achieve this, the Black Forest master brewers travelled all over the world to Australia in order to find a system that ultimately convinced them.

The Rothaus brewery is located in one of the most beautiful landscapes in Germany - the Black Forest. As a manufacturer of purely natural products, they have the greatest interest in the preservation of our environment and have always felt committed to sustainable management. The drink is free from any animal products or derivatives. In addition the bottle, label and glue is also free from animal products.

As defined by governmental guidelines on sugar the drink must contain less than 2.5g of sugar per 100mls. Products with a higher sugar content cause a spike in insulin and we react by storing more carbs as fat. You may also notice that although lower in sugar there is some carbs, this is usually more complex forms of sugar such as starches and fibre and the body uses these for energy.
