This amber ale is Nirvana Brewery's delicious alcohol-free answer to a traditional, quintessentially British ale.
Notes of biscuit, maple syrup and toasted nuts feature in the rich, malty backbone of Maris Otter and Amber malts, complemented by a smooth mouthfeel courtesy of the touch of oats in the grist.
English Goldings hops bring earthy, floral and spice notes to balance, resulting in a complex yet refreshing bitterness with subtle caramel undertones.

About Nirvana
Nirvana Brewery was launched in 2017 by a family of beer lovers with a simple mission; to dedicate itself entirely to the creation of quality alcohol-free craft beers. Coming from a family of beer lovers, when founder Becky's dad Jim went teetotal, she wanted ensure that he would carry on feeling included socially and see his face light up again when handed a bottle. Since then Nirvana has opened up a whole new world of great tasting alcohol free beer for a growing movement of folks that like to have a good time but keep their senses intact.
Alcohol Free Beers are made just like the alcoholic ones with water, yeast, hops and barley. Some are brewed to a lower ABV and some have the alcohol removed through various techniques. Across Europe beers below 0.5% ABV are classed as alcohol free. In the UK drinks that are between 0.05% and 0.5% ABV are classed as non-alcoholic.

The drink is free from any animal products or derivatives. In addition the bottle, label and glue is also free from animal products.

Gluten is a protein compound found most commonly in the grains wheat, barley, rye and oats. Wheat and barley are often key ingredients in producing drinks such as beer and in sealing wine casks. Gluten free drinks avoid using such products. To label as gluten free the product must have below 20 parts per million of gluten, which is barley a trace!

As defined by governmental guidelines on sugar the drink must contain less than 2.5g of sugar per 100mls. Products with a higher sugar content cause a spike in insulin and we react by storing more carbs as fat. You may also notice that although lower in sugar there is some carbs, this is usually more complex forms of sugar such as starches and fibre and the body uses these for energy.
