In the development and production of this non-alcoholic wheat, Krombacher were able to draw on two rich experiences. On the one hand, the gentle dealcoholization, as they already successfully use it for our alcohol-free Pils, on the other hand the separate brewing plant, which was conceived and built taking into account the special requirements for brewing their wheat beer.
Krombacher Weizen Alcohol-free is brewed according to the same, strict criteria as the alcoholic Krombacher wheat. The full-bodied, fruity taste of wheat as well as the nutritional values that are of interest to sports and leisure fans are the result of the special recipe. Their brewmasters and beer specialists have brewed a non-alcoholic wheat beer with real wheat flavor, which can be considered a fitness drink among the beers. Of course, calorie-reduced and isotonic.
What is Isotonic?
Isotonic means the drink has between 4g and 8g of carbohydrates and contains key minerals and vitamins that your body loses through exercise. The concentration of salts is so similar to your blood that it is the most efficient form of energy.
How is this product Vegan Friendly?
The drink is free from any animal products or derivatives. In addition the bottle, label and glue is also free from animal products.
Alcohol Free Beers are made just like the alcoholic ones with water, yeast, hops and barley. Some are brewed to a lower ABV and some have the alcohol removed through various techniques. Across Europe beers below 0.5% ABV are classed as ‘alcohol free’. In the UK drinks that are between 0.05% and 0.5% ABV are classed as non-alcoholic.
