Force Majeure Alcohol Free Blond (0.4% ABV)
A very tasty blonde beer, with its own unique character, inspired by the best Belgian blonde beers. Force Majeure Traditional Blond is full of flavour, with a delicate balance between bitter and hoppy.
Alcohol Free Beers are made just like the alcoholic ones with water, yeast, hops and barley. Some are brewed to a lower ABV and some have the alcohol removed through various techniques. Across Europe beers below 0.5% ABV are classed as alcohol free. In the UK drinks that are between 0.05% and 0.5% ABV are classed as non-alcoholic.
How is this low sugar and what about the carbs?
As defined by governmental guidelines ow sugar means the drink contains less than 2.5g of sugar per 100mls. Products with a higher sugar content cause a spike in insulin and we react by storing more carbs as fat. You may also notice that although lower in sugar there is some carbs, this is usually more complex forms of sugar such as starches and fibre and the body uses these for energy.
About Force Majeure
Belgians brew extremely tasty beers. Sometimes the product of a rich tradition and sometimes the result of enthusiastic experiments, but always full of flavour and with a lot of character. That taste and character usually comes with a precondition: a lot of alcohol.
At Force Majeure they believe that fancying a beer should be the only condition for raising a glass. That is why we they are first Belgian brewery to focus exclusively on brewing non-alcoholic craft beers. It is precisely that focus that allows them to preserve what makes Belgian craft beers special: a full taste and a distinct character. This way, everyone can enjoy that delicious taste of Belgian craft beer, wherever and whenever they want.
