Spooky Sipping: Hallowing Halloween Mocktails

Spooky Sipping: Hallowing Halloween Mocktails

The night we have all been waiting for is dawning, tombstones are rising in the windows of suburban homes, and the ghosts of haunted properties are slithering from the earth, waiting to lurk in the hallways of your home as you sit idly, plotting the Halloween party of the century. But, how do you keep the darkness at bay and host a night that is filled with terror, whilst keeping your guests howling with glee?

Wise Bartender have consulted our trusty soothsayers, and their prediction was clear: any party can be prevented from turning into a graveyard if these hallowing Halloween mocktails are served.

Monster Mudslide

If you’re looking for a monster mocktail that screams Halloween, then we’ve got just the classic recipe for you. This quintessential twist on a chocolate milkshake is both marvellously moreish and classy at the same time. The party-goers simply won’t be able to get enough.

You can decorate this drink however you see fit, allowing you to unleash your creative spirit, no matter how ghoulish. You could drizzle strawberry sauce over whipped cream for a vampire-themed party, or coat in candy floss and chocolate spiders to generate a cobwebbed corner where the witches of the night will gather and cackle on their broomsticks.

Regardless of your decoration, one thing is for sure: the flavours you serve will be far from muddy.

Toffee Apple Terror

The crisp bite of apple coated in decadently crunchy toffee is a nostalgic flavour combination we all crave in the autumn months, whether it stirs up memories of the annual town fair, or picking out the tastiest morsel whilst trick-or-treating with our parents. So, we asked the pressing question: can we replicate these flavours in an alcohol-free cocktail?

As it turns out, creating a toffee apple flavoured cocktail is far easier than you’d imagine, and it tastes just as good too. In fact, when you chill out with this frightfully tempting drink, you don’t even need to worry about getting toffee stuck between your teeth - trust us, your party guests will thank us for this one.

So rustle up a tray of these a-peel-ing appletisers and watch the crowd go wild.

The evenings are growing darker. The bats have come out to play. And Dracula is hanging on the doorstep of unwitting victims.

But will he make an appearance at your home this Halloween?

Why not beat him to the punch and serve up a cocktail that emulates the class of the traditional spooky blood sipper with a vampire-inspired cocktail, fit for fruit fanatics, and horror movie enthusiasts alike.

Zombie

From one much-loved horror villain to another popular creature. We simply couldn’t create a Halloween themed blog without honouring the rum-soaked tiki cocktail that is far less spooky than the name would suggest, but that doesn’t mean your party guests would be any less enthralled to sip on a zingy Zombie.

In fact, we’d go so far as to say that, when done correctly, this cocktail can raise any party from the dead.
